Denbies Sparkling Wine Wins "South East Wine of the Year 2005"...

Denbies Greenfields Cuvee 1999 has just received the much prized accolade of "South East Wine of the Year". The vineyard was up against stiff competition from other growers including Nytimber, Ridgeview and Chapel Down, all renowned for their quality sparkling wines. Christopher White, General Manager at Denbies commented, "We are absolutely delighted to receive this award which shows we are amongst the forerunmners of sparkling wine producers in this country." The vineyard also won several other awards for wines in the range and are now awaiting the results of the international competitions later this month.
