Evening Cellar Tasting & Canapé Reception - £18.00 per person
Includes 360° cinema experience, guests will be taken on the Indoor wine train through the working winery to the Denbies Cellars. Our Wine expert will introduce wines selected from Denbies range compare and contrast the difference between 6wines produced from the same vineyard.
Canapés will be served towards the end of the tasting, allowing guests the time to enjoy the wine. Tasting notes & guidelines will also be provided.

A blind tasting of a selection of European and Denbies wines. An interesting and lively evening which is guaranteed to challenge most individual's knowledge of wine!

The Gallery Restaurant

Only available in conjunction with a Gallery Restaurant or evening dinner event

Vine & Dine Denbies Grape Picking Experience
Itinerary
The harvest is one of the most significant times in the year of the vineyard.A day of true escapism awaits you at Denbies; experience first hand a snapshot of the life of the grape.This is a rewarding and informative day, guaranteed that you will have a long lasting respect for every future glass of wine.
9.30am Arrival
Bacon butty breakfast, coffee, tea, juice (vegetarian option available)
10am A Brief History of Denbies
20 minute surround vision film in Denbies 360° cinema traces the steps of the vines and details the wine making process. Now it's your turn to experience it first hand!
10.30am The Harvest
You will then be taken in to the 265 acre vineyard to commence grape picking, where you will be shown the technique. The hand picked grapes will eventually be made into Denbies Internationally award winning premium wine. Once picked the grapes enter the press within 3 hours.
11.30am Break with refreshments
Resume grape picking
1.30pm Vineyard Workers Lunch
Home-made soup followed by a hearty Ploughman's lunch, cold meats, cheese, pickles, coleslaw, apple, rustic bread & dessert, coffee and, of course, Denbies wine.
2.30pm The Winery
The grapes are delivered to the winery by trailer.
Here you will watch the pressing process and have a guided tour of the working winery. You will also have the opportunity to taste the must (the pressed juice) in its raw state. A wine tasting in the cellars will follow this.
3.30pm approx. Depart
Please note - Denbies Wine Estate is a working winery. All timings are approximate and may have to be rescheduled to fit in with the workings of the vineyard & winery

This includes all refreshments & as a memento of the occasion, a Denbies Estate Grown Vine of your choice - edible or wine making variety Corporate/group rates available on request
