Kitchen Garden Centre - local farm produce NOW IN STOCK

Welcome to Denbies Kitchen Garden  - your local Garden Centre in Surrey

The Kitchen Garden Centre now has a wide range of Christmas gifts in stock suitable for gardening enthusiasts.  The full range of high quality plants cultivated at the Denbies Kitchen Garden are available to visitors through the nursery. Converted farm buildings to the side of the visitor centre house the Kitchen Garden Centre and display the various seasonal plants on offer.  Associated goods are also available, as well as advice on specialist products and growing methods.  Vines, fruit fruits and herbs are a particular speciality.

The idea of a culinary garden centre at Denbies is not a new one. For the best part of 100 years from the 1850's, the Kitchen Garden at Denbies grew enough produce to support 400 Denbies staff and a London household. The garden fell into neglect and disuse during the 1950's but over a three year period from 2002, the current owners have returned much of the plot back to it's former glory.

Easter Holiday Fun for all the Family at Denbies - details

The Kitchen Garden is contained within a two acre walled site near the Denbies House. Happily today, the garden centre is back in full use, being a popular local visit in Surrey and further afield. These days, rather than producing food for estate, the focus has shifted to culinery herbs including rosemary, thyme, marjoram, lavender and dill as well as fruit trees and many varieties of vine.
